The induction noise, or the exhaust explosion. Also, this sounds very similar to the Murcielago R-GT1. I know Astons use odd firing V12s for their road cars, did they change it for their race cars though? Cause this sounds sexy as hell(aka, a lot smoother at lower revs and up high obviously). Also, for comparison sake. . .

I think most of that noise is gear whine. That's most of what I heard from the rear of the Aston and the whole pass by the Lambo.

What noise? Usually gearboxs have a whine to them. You can kind of hear it at 1:20, but once a car is moving you can barely hear it over all the other noises it is making.

You can also really hear it from 0:40-0:45. Like you said, it starts out as intake noise until 0:06, then you get some exhaust braaap from 0:06 to 0:08. The gear whine comes in at 0:07, and by 0:08 it's all I can hear.
